SINGAPORE NATIONAL ACADEMY (SNA) is a premier International school that combines the excellence of Singapore curriculum with best practices from the Western Pedagogy. We offer three languages (English, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia as first, second, and third language respectively). The main focus of our education is not only to make these children learn but also to teach them how to learn.
Learning is a lifelong process and learning to learn is an important precept of life. We also implement a customized education approach as we realize that each student has his/her own strengths and we adopt the Multiple Intelligence learning method to leverage each student's strengths to bring out what's best in him/her.
We want to encourage our students to dare to be different and have the courage to accept every challenge that they encounter. We believe that all children are leaders in their own ways and endeavor to prepare to be future leaders in their fields of distinction.
CAMPUS FACILITIES - SNA campus building is not just designed conventionally by an architect, but is carefully planned and designed by our very own experienced Board of Governors, assisted by professsionals who have the understanding of what is the best environment for children to learn.

Boarding House: To optimize the advantages of studying in SNA, a Boarding House is set up to provide convenience to benefit students whose homes are far away from the school and students who love communal living.
Others: Dining Hall, Health Centre, Outdoor Performing Hall, Children Playground and Ecogarden
Tutorial Classes
are arranged to help students cope with their studies. We provide tutorials for students who need help in their academic subjects.
Study Group are arranged to help students with their homework. Students who do not have the assistance of their parents or private tutors may attend this session and obtain help from their peers as well as the teacher-in-charge.
Enrichment Classes are arranged for students who excel in the areas of study. Students will receive optional materials in addition to the school syllabus.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA/ECA) are mandatory for SNA students. It will be held once a week. Activities will have duration of 1 hour.
School Field Trips are outdoor activities to provide students with enriching life experiences and learning.
Immersion Programmes are aligned with our objectives to provide global education in a dynamic cross-cultural environment. Through these real life experiences, we wish to nurture independent and competent students.

Premier schools offering scholarships to our students include two top schools in Singapore, Hwa Chong Institution and Nanyang Girls’ High School, and two renowned schools in Australia (Tasmania), The Hutchins Schools and St Michael’s Collegiate School. SNA will continue to foster partnership with more foreign schools to provide a wider range of educational opportunities to our students.
To ADD VALUE TO SNA CERTIFICATION, we train our students to sit for the Singapore International Primary School Leaving Examination (iPSLE) at the end of Primary 6, the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary (GCE ‘O’) Level Examination at the end of Secondary 4 and the Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced (GCE ‘A’) Level Examination upon completing the Pre-University course.
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Admission Period - Our admission period is from November to May. Application after May will be reviewed case by case. Admission is based on availability of vacancies and the students’ academic merits.
Admission Tests - Due to the demanding and rigorous curriculum that we have, we will administer Admission Tests in English Language and Mathematics for entry to Primary 2-5 and Secondary 1-3. Only qualified students will be enrolled into our school.
Placement Test - We will administer Placement Test in Chinese Language, in order to place the students in appropriate bands (level) according to their levels of competency in the subject.

Two of SNA students obtain scholarships
Edward Tan Ta You and Felicia Angkanata, two of the Secondary 3 students of Singapore National Academy, obtain the Singapore Ministry of Education School-Based Scholarships to pursue a 4-year integrated Programme from 2009-2012 in Hwa Chong Institution and Nanyang Girls’ High School.

Tiffany obtains the highest mark for iPSLE
Tiffany Thalia Gunawan, one of the primary 6 students of SINGAPORE NATIONAL ACADEMY, obtains the highest mark for iPSLE in Surabaya. She received Certificate of Outstanding Subject Performance in Science, which placed her among the top 5% rank in all Singapore schools for her performance in Science.
